This year’s inductee to the NYPEA Hall of Fame has been an NYPEA member starting as a youth. She has served in every office and position in the club and has contributed countless hours planning, making phone calls, taking notes, keeping points, and doing anything else the club needed.

As a youth advisor, she has brought many youths into the club providing them with horses to show and even memberships when needed.

Shannon has been active at the national level in PHBA as well. Showing in multiple World Shows, winning titles, and representing NYPEA.

Her overall show record speaks for itself with multiple year-end overall high points, Superior Championships, world show wins, and several years in the top ten in the national standings in multiple classes.

Anyone who has met her knows she is a force all her own and NYPEA is all the better for her being a member. Congratulations to this year’s Hall of Fame Inductee, Shannon Whitney. This is an honor that is well-earned and overdue.
